The Salt Spring Folk Club is excited to present Irish Mythen on Monday October 29 at the Fulford Hall. Born in Ireland, Mythen is a globe trotting contemporary Canadian folk artist who has been amassing accolades and achievements across several continents and she now resides in Prince Edward Island. Irish Mythen has established herself at events like Mariposa Folk Festival and has closed out the Philadelphia Folk Festival performing after Lyle Lovett and has opened for Melissa Etheridge. This past summer Irish wowed audiences at our BC Festivals with her powerful voice, engaging songs and entertaining stage presence. Our own favourite Salt Spring troubadour Alan Moberg will open for this first concert of the season. Season’s passes for the Salt Spring Folk Club’s 6 concert series will be on sale at this event with doors opening at 6pm for this 7pm show. Catering this year with delicious dinners and desserts will be “Three Blind Mice”. Advance tickets are on available at SS Books.
